Controversial MyCiTi bus route through Wynberg and Plumstead
The City of Cape Town has unveiled a controversial plan to build a two-lane, one-way trunk road (open to all traffic) through residential Wynberg and turn Main Road one-way. The road is supposedly for the MyCiTi bus but does not connect to the public transport interchanges. So it is therefore not an integrated rapid transit (IRT) route.
